We're Captains Sean and Savanna Campbell. We grew up on the shores of the Great Lakes and we love Lake Superior! We've been providing safe and fun boat tours and adventures for nearly a decade. We can't wait to welcome you aboard!
Rest assured that you will be comfortable on our Tiara 2900 Open. Plenty of seating for all your guests on deck and even more room in the cabin. Fully quipped with a table to sit and check out the field guides, a bed to lie down if you or the kids need a nap, and a bathroom with a toilet that flushes.

Fully licensed and insured. Stocked with a variety of the best gear, electronics, and equipment. We provide comfortable Onyx brand water-activated life vests (much more comfortable than your typical bulky PFDs) for fishing trips and water ski vets for water sports. Our boats are additionally equipped with Type II PFDs as required by the US Coast Guard. We operate a 2900 Tiara Open. These overbuilt vessels are made in Holland, Michigan, USA and their quality and safety is top of their class.
A deposit of 25% of the total is required at booking. We accept PayPal, Venmo, and can process debit and credit cards. Remainder of payment is due day of charter, non-cash payments require 3% processing fee.
Refunds of the deposit will be provided if the tour is cancelled at the Captain's discretion. Due to the nature of the rapidly changing weather on Lake Superior, it is sometimes not known until the day of departure what the temperament of the Gitche Gumee will be. We appreciate your flexibility as we attempt to accommodate your adventure while maintaining safety as our top priority.
Our guests have questions, and we like to have answers. Our tours visit historic areas full of wildlife and geologic wonder. We operate around the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore are happy to explain all we know or keep the tour quiet for a more tranquil experience. We encourage you to ask questions and offer your feedback so we can meet your specific expectations and be ever-improving.
